Before becoming a nurse, I spent many years as a flower designer, landscaper and farmer. I see these careers so closely related to nursing; all requiring an authentic concern and respect for life, as well as an inherent desire to take care of things. It seemed like a fitting choice when I decided to go back to school to pursue a career in nursing. I truly enjoy learning about people and their health concerns and challenges. It is my priority to make sure our patients feel supported and cared for and to provide the highest level of nursing care to those patients I work with. After graduating from College of Marin in 2009, I joined a team of providers at a community health clinic in East Oakland where I began to lay the foundation for my career as a nurse. It was in this environment that I discovered a desire to work in primary care; serving people with chronic health challenges and helping people to better manage and maintain a healthy and productive lifestyle.
I am a California native who found “home” in Marin County 17 years ago and currently live in Fairfax with my husband and son. I am an insatiable traveller and have spent many years out in the world, taking in the tastes, smells and sights of this amazing world. I also love being in the outdoors and exploring the many awesome places the Bay Area has to offer.
I am so honored to join CHA and be a part of this incredible West Marin organization and I look forward to growing and integrating into this community for many years to come.
