I believe that the core of health is wholly related to the well-being of mind, body and spirit. My passion lies in caring for others and working with them directly to make a healthcare plan that addresses all aspects of wellness and treating the whole being rather than simply treating a single disease or disorder. I feel compelled to work in a smaller clinic environment where I could know my patients personally and work directly with them as well as their families to make their health a priority.
My path has always led me to the medical field and my background includes certified nurse’s assistant, wildland firefighter/EMT, US Army Combat Medic, as well as hospital work as an anesthesia and neonatal critical care technician. I have continued that path and recently pursued a higher education, receiving my degree in nursing in 2014. I love learning about healthcare and alternative healing options for patients.
I feel that a balance of work and home life is so important and when I am not at work, I spend my time expressing my creativity as a glass mosaic artist, jewelry maker and drawing techniques for creative relaxation. Creativity in my life is so important and brings me joy, clarity and peace of mind. I also cherish every moment I have to spend with my family.
I was raised in the San Francisco Bay Area and am so honored to be a part of this local community of healthcare professionals. It is truly a dream of mine to participate in providing health care and education to my home community.
